Résumé
Comme David Hollander, dans Unusual Sounds: The Hidden History of Library Music, déclare, Coloursound a été fondé en 1979 par un compositeur, avocat de la musique et vibraphoniste Gunter Greffenius. Une maison munichoise réputée pour publier une musique innovante et ambitieuse, il s'adressait en grande partie au marché des sons expérimentaux, sa première sortie était Biomechanoid des années 1980, un résumé excursion au synthétiseur par Joel Vandroogenbroeck.Le catalogue du label est un hommage à la licence créative sans entraves qui ont pu offrir aux musiciens avant-gardistes qui, frustrés par les caprices et les contraintes de la scène commerciale, retrouve une totale liberté dans monde de la musique de production.
