Metal rock alternatif, THE MYSTICAL HOT CHOCOLATE ENDEAVORS propose avec ce 2nd effort ni plus ni moins qu'un double album. Et on a envie de dire tant mieux, tant leur musique est captivante à bien des égards. Nantie d'une production superbe, parfait équilibre entre puissance et clarté, la musique oscille entre diverses influences, allant de PEARL JAM au rock progressif, en passant par le rock US et moult autres... La voix vous attrapera comme ALICE IN CHAINS savait le faire, les guitares sont ultra efficaces et quand le combo appuie un peu plus son propos l'aspect metal, et sombre à la TOOL, fait surface et vous prend aux tripes. Superbe découverte qui ne demande qu'à être adoptée!
