Résumé
Le dernier album de Sting " 57th & 9th " a été un succès, non seulement commercial (disque de platine en France avec plus de 100 000 albums vendus) mais également critique, tout le monde saluant à l'unanimité son retour à des sonorités pop-rock. Les deux premiers singles "I Can't Stop Thinking About You " et " One Fine Day " ont été Top 20 de l'airplay des radios adultes en France. De sa performance pour la réouverture du Bataclan à la sortie de son DVD Live At The Olympia (certifié or), Sting a réalisé une campagne extraordinaire. En forme et inspiré, Sting renoue pour son prochain album avec les sonorités reggae pop et caraïbéennes qui ont fait le succès de certains de ses tubes comme " So Lonely ". Ce nouvel opus, intitulé 44/876 (en référence aux indicatifs téléphoniques de l'Angleterre et de la Jamaïque) est un album collaboratif avec le tout aussi incroyable Shaggy. Lancé en grande pompes lors des Victoires de la Musique en février dernier, le premier single " Don't Make Me Wait ", est déjà Top 25 des radios adultes. Un impressionnant planning promo accompagnera cette sortie, ainsi qu'une co-ex avec France TV, puis une tournée des festivals cet été.
