Résumé
Dion est à lui seul un symbole du Doo-Wop blanc du début des 60's. Des monuments du rythme et de l'harmonie vocale comme "Runaround Sue" et "The wanderer" sont présents sur la réédition cd de cet album classique. Dion maitrise complétement sa voix, et l'accompagnement musical est irréprochable. Entre une certaine naïveté juvénile et une véritable émotion, les titres de cet album raviront non seulement les amateurs de rock, mais aussi les amoureux de belles voix et de mélodies bien ficelées. Un des chanteurs de rock américain les plus populaires avant la British Invasion, Dion a débuté comme chanteur du groupe Dion and the Belmonts, entre 1957 et 1960, avant de se lancer dans une carrière solo. Cette édition contient deux des albums les plus emblématiques de Dion :son deuxième album solo, Runaround Sue (1961), et en bonus son premieralbum avec The Belmonts, Presenting... (1959). Il comprend également 6titres bonus de la même période. Une superbe édition à ne pas manquer ! 6 bonus tracks
