Night Stalker

Teaser Sweet from Sweden have already caused quite a stir in their local scene. The starting shot was originally fired in 2013, when Marcus Damberg asked his sister Therese and then bassist Christoffer Cardell: "Shouldn't we form a band?" The original line-up was completed by Kalle Krantz on drums. Initially, they played songs by Kiss before gradually creating their own material. After the first demo, the band ventured onto the stage and subsequently recorded three albums and an EP: "Hit And Run" (2015), "In The Night" (EP, 2017), "Hypnotized" (2018) and "Monster" (2020). Teaser Sweet have now signed a contract with High Roller Records for their new album "Night Stalker". In Therese Damberg, the Swedes have a singer whose voice is reminiscent of a cross between Acids Kate, Leather Leone and Johanna from Lucifer. Teaser Sweet continue the long tradition of Swedish bands with female participation, starting with Crucified Barbara, through Slingblade and Thundermother, to The Gems. However, Therese Damberg points out: "ABBA certainly contributed to Swedish women having the self-confidence to make music. But for me, it goes without saying that there are female singers in hard rock - after all, there are plenty of bands that consist only of men. In any case, I don't see any difference."Musically, Teaser Sweet are inspired by Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Dio and the late Europe.
