Gong est un groupe de Space Rock Psychédélique, Rock Progressif et Free-Jazz fondé par l'australien Daevid Allen, guitariste de Soft Machine à la suite d'un exil forcé en France à partir de 1967. À la fois délirante, joyeuse et énergique, la musique de Gong allie des mélodies naïves, des rythmes parfois simples et puissants, parfois sophistiqués et des ambiances planantes...
