Le coffret Deluxe 3CD+2DVD contient : CD1 : l'album original, pour la première fois en version remasterisée. CD2 : des faces-B, remixes et performances live. CD3 : son concert légendaire au Maracana de Rio de Janeiro en 1988.En vidéo : DVD1 : la captation vidéo de ce concert à Rio. DVD2 : des vidéoclips restaurés en HD, un concert intimiste au Camden Palace (Londres - 1986). David Bowie, Mark Knopfler, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Steve Winwood, entre autres, ont participé à cet album, qui contient les titres 'Typical Male' et 'Back Where You Started'. L'édition 2CD inclut les CD1 et CD2 du coffret Deluxe, l'édition vinyle l'album remasterisé.'Break Every Rule' était l'album de suivi de Turner après l'album de retour extrêmement réussi, 'Private Dancer'. Le premier single, "Typical Male", a été un grand succès dans les charts, atteignant le numéro deux aux États-Unis et le numéro trois en Allemagne, aux côtés de plusieurs top 10 à travers le monde. "Back Where You Started" a valu à Turner un autre Grammy pour la meilleure performance vocale rock féminine en 1987.
