Janis Joplin et Big Brother étaient un des groupes phare de la scène psychédélique.Retrouvez sur ce magnifi que DVD + CD COLLECTOR, Janis Joplin au sommet de sa gloire enregistrée aux studios KQED TV de San Francisco en 1967, interprétant 6 de ses meilleurs titres, juste quelques semaines avant sa fameuse prestation du Monterey Pop Festival.C'est la première fois que ces titres sortent en DVD avec une qualité sonor et visuelle parfaite pour l'époque.Janis a rejoint Big Brother and The Holding Company en 1966 et rapidement, le groupe a connu la consécration en participant au Monterey Pop Festival en 1967, partageant notamment l'affi che avec Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Who ou Jimi Hendrix Experience.Tournée de Big Brother Européenne 2009 avec 2 dates en France : :- 19 Novembre Paris New Morning - 21 Novembre Cleon The ""Heroes Of Woodstock"" avec Jefferson Starship, Big Brother & The Holding Company, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, Grateful Dead etc .
