666 est un double album de rock progressif publié en 1972 après la séparation des Aphrodite's Child. Composé par Vangelis Papathanassiou, celui-ci est l'adaptation musicale de l'Apocalypse de Saint-Jean.
Très controversé à sa sortie et qualifié à l'époque, de "musique de pierre" par Salvador Dali, l'album est aujourd'hui considéré comme l'un des meilleurs albums de rock, mêlant métal, rock et musique orientale.
